Niva Ta'auso is a Samoan New Zealand rugby union player. His position is Centre. He plays for Connacht in the Magners League.

Super Rugby

Ta'auso started out for the Chiefs in the Super 14 in 2005 against the Sharks. In three seasons Ta'auso had played 16 matches and scored 25 points. Now in 2008 Ta'auso has been drafted into the Highlanders squad. He has played for the national divisional team and was in the Junior All Blacks in 2006. He has signed a one year contract for the 2008/2009 season with Irish side Connacht.

Air New Zealand Cup

Ta'auso plays for Counties-Manukau in the Air New Zealand Cup. He debuted against Argentina in 2001 and has played for them ever since, scoring 105 points in 63 matches.
