Markham Road is a north-south route in
Toronto . The section was downloaded from the province ofOntario and renamed from Highway 48 to the old name of Markham Road. The current road stretches fromLake Ontario to Toronto's northern border atSteeles Avenue .Markham Road is served by the TTC route 102.
Some of the provincial highway designation signs continue to exist along the York Regional Road 68.
