Notable_instruments =Liquid are a British dance act, formed by Eamon Downes and Shane Heneghan.
Liquid emerged in 1991 with "Sweet Harmony" layering classic
house music over rolling, breakneck beats. This was followed by the "The Future Music" E.P. which included "Liquid is Liquid". Following Heneghan's (DJ Model) departure from the band after the first two releases, Liquid's reputation for recording alternative dancefloor fillers was cemented with Eamon Downes' "Time To Get Up" and theflamenco guitar s of "One Love Family" - both of which wereMixmag 'singles of the week'.The first three EP's were recorded with producer Jezz Wright [http://www.blockhousemedia.co.uk] at Blockhouse.
Liquid have, with
Top 40 singles in the UK, and severalEurope an hits, achieved commercial success whilst maintaining critical acclaim. TheNME describe theXL recordings album "Liquid Culture" as "sophisticated, soulful techno". Liquid has performed live in many countries over many years. December 2007 saw the re-release of "Sweet Harmony" onXL recordings [ [http://www.incentivemusic.com/ Art & Craft Incentivemusic.com] ] withremix es by James Talk, Dave Spoon and Streetlife DJs.
