Calebopolis

Calebopolis

Calebopolis is a fictional city that was created in circa 1995 by John Caleb Clark. The population is less than 69,000 people and it has inspired many SimCity 2000 architects. The greatest curiosity is the forest that inside the waterfall. There seems to be trees growing from the waterfall and this feat cannot be accomplished normally in nature. This city features airport peninsula with long runways, a raised coast to fend against flooding, an island with microwave power plants, and a centralized park with a large C written in fresh water. The city also has an island that houses the town's youth culture with universities, a museum and a library. For the offenders, there is an island prison which is a lot like Alcatraz.

This city is highly compatible with Streets of SimCity and SimCopter with a few limitations. In "SimCopter", services cannot reach the prison or the university islands while in "Streets of SimCity", a modification to make the vehicle hover is needed to access the islands and the peninsula is inaccessible by road. It can only be properly accessed by equipping the vehicle of off-road tires and driving on the railroad tracks. The layout of the city looks similar to San Francisco or Vancouver. The life expectancy of citizens is 70 years of age and the mayor has his own residence and a small community to purchase groceries from so that he doesn't have to drive all the way down the mountain to attend his errands.
