Allan Little

Allan Little is a British journalist for the BBC. He is the foreign and Africa correspondent for the BBC. Little was formerly a presenter of BBC Radio 4's Today programme. In 1982, Little graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an MA in Politics and history. In 1983, Little began work on radio stations across the United Kingdom, by this point — he had worked in Glasgow and London, as well as other radio stations throughout the UK. Little was awarded "Radio Reporter of the Year", the "Amnesty International Radio Reporter of the Year" for his reports on human rights. In 1998, he was nominated to be the Alumnus of the year by the university, and the Royal Bank of Scotland, an award designed to be given for those who have performed good actions for their community.
