Wilkin Castillo (born June 1, 1984 in Baní, Dominican Republic) is a Major League Baseball third baseman who plays for the Cincinnati Reds.

Castillo was originally signed as an undrafted free agent in by|2002 by the Arizona Diamondbacks.

In by|2007, he played for the Double-A Mobile BayBears. In 109 games, he had a .302 batting average. His contract was purchased by the Diamondbacks on November 20, 2007.

Castillo is a switch hitting utility catcher. In the minor leagues, Castillo has played catcher, first base, second base, shortstop, and outfield.

Cincinnati Reds

On August 14, mlby|2008, Castillo was sent to the Cincinnati Reds as a part of the Adam Dunn trade, which took place August 11. On August 31, he was called up to the majors.
