William E. Devlin

William E. Devlin The author of "We Crown Them All: An illustrated History of Danbury". William has lived in the Danbury area his entire life and is currently a history teacher at Darien High School. After receiving his master's degree in American cultural history and museum studies at UVM, and a bachelor's degree in history at Western Connecticut State University he went on to work at the Danbury Scott-Fanton Museum and Historical Society as a curatorial assistant. He later became the vice president of the Danbury Preservation Trust working as a historic resources consultant.
