Han Chiang Indoor Stadium is a basketball arena located at Jalan Lim Lean Teng, Penang, Malaysia. Construction on the arena begin on 1962, and was completed on 1966. The capacity of the stadium at that time was 1,000. Due to the bad condition inside the stadium, The Han Chiang Board Of Directors allocated RM 500,000 to renovate, repaint the building and the basketball court, change from old seats to new seats and fully-air conditioned the stadium. Renovation works begin on June 2007 and completed on July 2007. The newly-renovated stadium was launched by The Han Chiang Board Of Director, Tan Sri Dato Tan Kok Ping on 17 July 2007. The capacity of the stadium now is 6,000. In October 2007, the stadium hosted the Penang Chief Minister's Asian Basketball Invitation 2007.
