- Kyambura Game Reserve
Summary
Kyambura Game Reserve is also known as Kyambura Gorge. Kyambura is part of the Queen Elizabeth National Park and home to a variety of game including the only primates in the Queen Elizabeth National Park. The area is an important water source for many animals and is surrounded by savanna grasslands but is generally noted for its high concentration of primate life located in the gorge.
Location
Kyambura is located on North-Eastern side of the Park (QENP) approximately 30 km from Queen ElizAbeth National Park Headquarters. The Gorge spans a distance of 16 km between savannah Kyambura Gorge links to the
Kazinga channel .Wildlife
Kyambura is the only place in the Park where you can see habituated chimpanzees and other types of primates including red-tailed monkey, black-and-white colobos monkey, baboons and vervet monkeys. The park is also known for it variety of avian species including various falcons, Merops Mulleri and African Finfoot and others.
