- Collaborative Service Network
-
A Collaborative Service Network (CSN) is a Layer-7 switching network that supports complex human / computer relationship webs in a service oriented fashion. There are two types of CSN: Edge-Controlled and Edge-Protected. The former conforms to the classic Internet "dumb network" model and the latter conforms to the classic "intelligent network" model.
The detailed specifications for CSNs will be evolved in a public forum through CollaborativeServiceNetworks.org over the 2007-2009 period under the direction of the Smart Internet Cooperative Research Centre ([1]).
