p=yàzhōu guójì bólǎnguǎnThe AsiaWorld-Expo is one of the two major convention and exhibition facilities in Hong Kong along withHong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre . AsiaWorld-Expo is located in the northeast corner ofChek Lap Kok island,Hong Kong , where theHong Kong International Airport is located. It is operated by "AsiaWorld-Expo Management Limited" and was opened on21 December ,2005 byDonald Tsang ,Chief Executive of Hong Kong.At a construction cost of HK$2.35 billion, AsiaWorld-Expo offers over 70,000 square metres of rentable space, including 10 exhibition halls and the 13,500 seat AsiaWorld-Arena for exhibitions, conventions, concerts, sports and entertainment events.
