Sunway Semenyih

Sunway Semenyih is a new township, located along the Kajang Semenyih road. There are two new highway near to this township, and the highways are

1. SILK Highway [http://www.sunway.com.my/silk/]

This highway is belonging to the subsidiary of Sunway Group. Sunway Group is one of the conglomerate company and well-verse in property business. [http://www.sunway.com.my]

2. KASEH Highway

This highway is belonging to IJM Berhad, another conglomerate company in Malaysia. [http://www.ijm.com]

This highway gives free access for the resident and near-by residents to go to Kuala Lumpur or Seremban.

As a developer in Sunway Semenyih, they plan to create about 19 phases for the whole township. Currently, only 7 phases have been completed and another 1 is under construction and expected to be completed on 2008.

As a new township, there are vaious facilities for example club house with complete facilities including swimming pool and coffee house. Also there is a natural river running through this township.

As a new township, the developer has create resident association. With the resident association, all residents problem will be channel through the resident association. The full name of this association is Bandar Sunway Semenyih Residents Association.

PROBLEM IN THIS TOWNSHIP

The main problem is this area the environments issue.

Currently there are 3 factories located very near to resident house and the factory are:-1. IB sofa Sdn Bhd [http://www.ibsofa.com]

This factory is located very near to resident houses and this company produces sofa the brand name of NAVINZI [http://www.navinzi.com]

This factory employed foreigner worker especially from Myanmar, Vietnam, Cina, Bangladesh and Indonesia. Here owner requested the workers to stay inside the factory compound. When the workers staff inside the factory compound, this create problems where at night time, the staff singing, making noise and naked during bath-time.Also this factory working everyday without day. The reason due to maximum order from foreigner company. By forcing their staff living inside the factory compound, it really reduce operation cost for the factory and increase the profit margin by 50%.

Their major clients is from New Zealand, Australia, European companies (PLEASE STOP BUY NAVINZI PRODUCT)

2. Everise Stealler Sdn Bhd [http://www.www.everisestellar.com]

This factory making noise every hour.

3. Pau Tatt Sdn Bhd

All this factories create unhealthy environmental in this new township.

Another problem is quarry issue. The operator of this quarry is Hanson Quarry Sdn Bhd. The local council, mention that the owner of this quarry is a UK based company.

Due to profit making by all parties, the sunway semenyih is not a healthy environmental place to buy or stay.

This can be verify from the resident association committee member. (We have a letter from our local council mention that there factories operate without the permit)
