The dam is convert|1336|ft|m long and convert|61|ft|m high, itsreservoir is convert|7|mi|km|sing=on long and has a storage capacity of convert|5000|acre feet. It is a run-of-river dam. The dam is built on the largest of the five Great Falls of the Missouri, and these specific falls are also called "The Great Falls". Since 1915, the powerhouse on the right side of the dam has occupied a significant portion of the convert|87|ft|m|sing=on high falls.References
