- Canadian units
Canadian units are the traditional weights and measures used in
Canada . The country has officially adopted themetric system , but still maintains legal definitions of theimperial unit s under Schedule II, Section 4 of theWeights and Measures Act (R.S. 1985) ( R.S., 1985, c. W-6 ).
