Dafta, United Arab Emirates

Dafta is a village near Masafi. It is surrounded by mountains and ruled by Ras Al Khaiamah Emirate. Dafta is in the middle of the road that leads to Fujairah. The citizens are from Al Naqbi Family that are one of the most famous Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah families. Dafta is located in the middle of the Valley of Ham and is a nice tourist attraction. The Sharjah government is connecting Dafta with Khoorfakhan by a new Road with a tunnel under the mountains; which is anticipated to be a major tourist attraction when it opens in 2010.
