Frank Barnes (gunsmith)

Frank C. Barnes (June 25, 1918 – 1992) was a 20th Century gunsmith and cartridge designer. He was the author of "Cartridges of the World" and the designer of the .308x1.5in Barnes, the .458x1.5in ,and the 2in .458 American.

History

Barnes was born in Chicago.
