"The Mind's I" is the third full-length studio album by the Swedish melodic death metal band Dark Tranquillity, released in 1996. After "The Gallery", Dark Tranquillity stopped using old English language and personal themes in their lyrics.Fact|date=September 2007 "The Mind's I" is the first album coming with this change. Meta-physical subjects are held but still deeper in meaning. Also, the band's creativity and musical development drives the album forward, this was also the first album that the band dropped their guitar tuning by one whole step, making a heavier sound. They have remained at this tuning till the present.

In 2004, "The Mind's I" was re-released under Osmose Productions and in 2005 by Century Media Records with new layouts, the four-song "Enter Suicidal Angels" EP and two live videos.
