He has played a high level of hockey since 1999, where he played forBowdoin College inNew England for four seasons, providing a decent return of 101 points in that time. He then moved toEurope , playing for the local team inNeuss ,Germany . Starke stayed just one season, the 2003/04 season before returning back to North America.Whilst here he played for the
Kalamazoo Wings , theFlint Generals , theRoanoke Valley Vipers and theQuad City Mallards all of theUHL . Whilst playing for the Mallards, Starke was a line-mate ofLuke Stauffacher . Both went on to sign for theManchester Phoenix in theUnited Kingdom , playing atEIHL level. Despite a positive season in Manchester, Starke was released by head coachTony Hand as part of a re-building process within the squad.External links
