"Wired Science" is a weekly high-definition television program that covers modern scientific and technological topics. In January 2007 PBS aired pilot episodes for three different science programs, including "Wired Science".cite web | url=http://www.current.org/science/sci0708wired.shtml |title=For "Wired", it's not just a brand extension | publisher="Current" |date=2007-05-14 |accessdate=2008-01-05] Using Nielsen Ratings, CPB-sponsored research and public feedback, PBS selected "Wired Science" for a 10-episode run in the fall schedule.
