WRXB (1590 AM) is a radio station broadcasting an Urban Contemporary format. It was originally owned by J Eugene Danzy. Licensed to St. Pete Beach, Florida with offices in a converted house on First Ave. N. near 20th Street in St. Petersburg, it serves the Tampa Bay area. The station is currently owned by Polnet Communications, Ltd. WRXB has had legendary announcers such as Jim Murray, Rob Simone and Sister Dianne Hughes doing gospel from 5am to 10am daily. WRXB also features Pastor Norma Miller hosting Pastor Glenn Miller's Praize Party. Other announcers that have graced the airwaves include Ivan Summers and Tony King hosting TK's Midday Cafe.
