Internal Affairs Service of Philippine National Police

The Internal Affairs Service of Philippine National Police (PNP) was created pursuant to Republic Act (RA) 8551 otherwise known as " The PNP Reform and Reorganization Act of 1998". It was envisioned to be a truly independent and impartial body, manned by God-centered and professional officers. Its mandate is to instill police discipline, enhance the delivery of police service and dispense justice. An effective Internal Affairs Service is intended to aid the evolution of a well disciplined, effective, efficient and service-oriented Philippine National Police.(Jen-PRD 2008)
