Inachus dorsettensis, commonly known as the Scorpion Spider Crab, generally found on loose substates (stony bottoms to mud) from 5m depth down to about 100m. A common sight for UK divers it is found along the East coast of the Atlantic and in the Mediterranean.

Description

They are usually seen covered with sponge which they apply themselves the carapace is roughly 30mm long for a full grown male and slightly narrower in breadth.
