Iddesleigh is a village in Devon, England.

The village is mentioned in the book War Horse by Micheal Morpurgo. The book was inspired by a painting in the village hall intitled Joey. It is also the home of protagonist Tommo in the book Private Peaceful, also by Michael Morpurgo.
