- Neel bagh
Neel Bagh, was a school under the initiative of David Horsburgh, in Srinivasapur Taluk Andhra Pradesh. It was influenced by the philosophy of J.Krishnamurti, Rabindranath Tagore, Bertrand Russell etc. It was started in 1972 and closed during the early part of 1980's (need exact year). Apart from children there were also programs for teachers.
Some his student teachers further began various teaching initiatives and has great influence in the Indian education scenario today. To name a few - TN Narasimhan, Usha, Rohit Dhankar, Malathietc.
