Neel Bagh was a school under the initiative of David Horsburgh, in Srinivasapur Taluk, Andhra Pradesh. It was influenced by the philosophy of J.Krishnamurti, Rabindranath Tagore and Bertrand Russell.
It started in 1972 and closed during the early 1980s [exact year needed]. Neel Bagh school introduced activity-based learning.
Some of the school's teachers still have influence in Indian education such as T. N. Narasimhan, Usha, Rohit Dhankar and Malathi.
United Nations International School has the largest Neel Bagh Club where most of the funds are raised each year. The President of this club is Erika Scelfo.
The average income of a parent who sends their child to the Neel Bagh school was $25.
