John Campbell (born 1956) is a Professor of Philosophy at the University of California in Berkeley, California. Before moving to Berkeley, Campbell taught at Oxford University for a number of years, eventually holding the Wilde Professorship in Mental Philosophy. Campbell specializes in the philosophy of mind with special emphasis on questions relating to perception.His books include "Past, Space, and Self" (MIT Press, 1994) and "Reference and Consciousness"(Oxford University Press, 2002).
