"Lepidopleurus" is a genus of chitons in the family Leptochitonidae. They are small narrowly-ovate chitons, the valves usually without insertion plates, but when present, without slits. The tail valve is slightly larger than the others. Sculpture consists of overall patterns of granules, in radial and vertical series.

They are found around southern Australia from Western Australia to Queensland, and around New Zealand including the southern islands.
