Betty Tancock

Elizabeth "Betty" Tancock (née Edwards) [http://www.ac-fpeh.com/alumni/halloffame_bio.php?id=44 U of T Sports Hall of Fame List] ] (born February 22, 1911) is a Canadian swimmer who competed in the Olympic games in 1932 in Los Angeles. She competed in the 1932 Summer Olympics in 400m Freestyle, but did not win a medal. She also competed in the 4x100m Freestyle, where she placed 4^th. She also represented Canada in the 1930 and 1934 British Empire Games.

Tancock was inducted as a member of the University of Toronto Sports Hall of Fame in 1990. She is Canada's oldest living Olympic competitor.
