Jetta International is an American OEM manufacturer and designer of computer laptops, mainly operating in the East Coast. The company was established in 1991 [http://www.jettaus.com/Article/About] , and it is based in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey (close to Princeton), where the only manufacturing plant is settled.

"Jetbook", the laptop series manufactured by Jetta, features Intel microprocessors and comes with a customizable selection of software. Jetbooks are known in the open source community because they can be purchased without a pre-installed operating system [http://tuxmobil.org/jetta.html] .
