Fontel Mines (born February 2, 1985 in city-state|Richmond|Virginia) is an American Football tight end who is a practice squad player for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League. He was signed by the Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played college football at Virginia.

Early years

Mines attended Hermitage High School in Richmond, Virginia and was a student and a letterman in football and basketball. In football, as a senior, he was a first-team Group AAA All-state selection and made 37 receptions for 674 yards and ten touchdowns. College career
