Their original name was "Marquis de Sade" named after the French aristocrat of the same name who also lent his name to the word sadist. They changed their name to Savage Grace, on Metal Massacre II in 1982, with the song "Scepters of Deceit".
The band was also featured on the "Speed Metal Hell"
compilation album in 1985 with the song "Master of Disguise" and "Fear my Way".Also released the song "Mainline Lover" on the sampler, "American Metal - Heavy 'N' Dirty" (1993).On
April 13 2006 , Christian Logue was arrested for practicing medicine without a license. He called himself Dr. Richard Santee and offered miraculous cancer treatment to people who had tried, without success, all kinds of normal treatments before. He was also being held without bail at Los Angeles County Jail on ten felony counts, including fraud, identity theft, grand theft and assault weapons charges.Line-up
