Vrangsinn (Daniel Vrangsinn Salte) is a Norwegian musician, most well-known as the bassist of Carpathian Forest (1999 - Present)

Biography

Vrangsinn is known for his guitar & bass playing and his bizarre stage stunts while performing with Norwegian black metal band Carpathian Forest.

Vrangsinn was named Daniel Salte at birth but he legally changed his name to Daniel Vrangsinn Salte in 2003.

Vrangsinn is the person behind the Secht - True Narcotic Black Metal musical experiment.

Vrangsinn is also gaining fame as the founder of "The Misantrof Music Industry Experiment" - [http://www.misantrof.net Misantrof ANTIRecords] - A non-profit record label established January 2007.

The music is released as free mp3 downloads. Instead of charging the person(s) for downloading, the user(s) are encouraged to pay directly to the artist(s) the amount of money the music is worth for the person(s) who downloaded it.

Vrangsinn also creates other artforms than music. He creates graphics artwork in form of t-shirts motives and/or CD booklets, he creates his own stage clothing, jewelry, steel crosses and pentagrams. These are some of his less known activities.
