- Vernon Heywood
Professor Vernon Hilton Heywood (born December 24, 1927) is a world renowned British biologist. His main fields of excellence are medicinal and aromatic plants, and the conservation of wild relatives of plants.
He is currently a professor on the academic staff at the
University of Reading in Reading,United Kingdom .In 1987 he was awarded the
Linnean Medal of theLinnean Society of London .
