Education City Queensland

Education City is a learning facility situated on an 18-hectare site and is located 26km from Brisbane in Greater Springfield, Australia. Education City is a campus that brings together education, training and learning providers to the one location. Education City’s programs incorporate a variety of formal and informal learning opportunities, delivered through its Education and Training providers. Catering for students of all ages and backgrounds, providing multiple and flexible learning pathways.

The $85 million first stage of Education City was officially opened by the Prime Minister of Australia, The Hon John Howard, in April 2006 and has a current student population of 1,400.

Education and Training Providers

*ABC Learning Centre - The ABC Learning Centre offers childcare places and childcare training

*Australia City College - Australia City College (ACC) offer certificate level courses in TESOL (Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages) to domestic and international students and a Diploma of Business Management. ACC have strong links in China and South Korea.

*The Bremer Institute of TAFE - Operates globally to provide vocational education and training services to individuals, businesses and industry. The Institute offers traditional, on-line and distance learning programs in a wide range of studies and speciality areas

*Specialised Training Services - Specialised Training Services provides quality work-based training throughout South-East Queensland.

*St Peters Lutheran College - St Peters Lutheran College is a co-educational day school strongly committed to the Christian faith, catering for students from Preparatory to Year 8 in 2008, progressing to Year 12 in 2012.

*Union Institute of Language - UIL manage and coordinate the process of assisting students with planning an academic pathway from English studies, exam preparation and specially designed programs to help students develop the skills for high school and tertiary courses.

*University of Southern Queensland - The University of Southern Queensland offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees across a range of areas including the arts, business, education, engineering and surveying, law and psychology.
