Juan Carlos Silva (born February 6, 1988) is a Mexican soccer player currently playing for Club America in Mexico. Silva has represented his country in international competition, competing for Mexico's U-17 squad in the 2005 U-17 FIFA World Cup, which Mexico won. For his club, he debuted August 12, 2007 in a game against Jaguares de Chiapas. Silva's greatest moment came in when former coach Daniel Brailovsky of America added Silva to the starting line-up during a game against Chivas were he scored both goals that eventually meant the win for America in the Classic.He also has been called to the Mexican U-23 team for the 2008 Olympic Qualifiers.
