Najabut Ali Khan

Sayyid Najabut Ali Khan (formal title Saif-ul-Mulk Saifuddaula Nawab Nazim Syed Najabut Ali Khan Bahadur Shahamut Jang, c. 1750 – 10 March 1770) succeeded his elder brother Najimuddin Ali Khan as the Nawab of Bengal, Bihar and Orissa on 22 May, 1766.

He was the son of Mir Jafar and his third wife Munni Begum. He was the tenth Nawab of Bengal and the third from the Najafi dynasty. Only sixteen when he became Nawab, he reigned under the regency of his mother. He died of smallpox on 10 March, 1770.[citation needed]
