First Saturn V Launch Vehicle is the first-built Saturn V launch vehicle, and was used for testing.
This was the prototype for the Saturn V launch vehicle and was the first Saturn V constructed by the Marshall Space Flight Center under the direction of Dr. Wernher von Braun. It served as the test vehicle for all of the Saturn support facilities at the Marshall Space Flight Center.
