This species is endemic to Queen Charlotte Sound in
New Zealand 'sSouth Island .Description
This species has 17 lateral grooves on either side, with one or two small
papilla e in each side field (an area bounded by grooves). There is only avestigial internal shell in the form of numerous smallcalcareous particles. Coloration is buff with irregular black spots.References
