Eliot, 1903Chelidonura varians is a species of small sea slug, a marine opisthobranch gastropod mollusc in the order Cephalaspidea, the headshield slugs.
Description
This species is similar to C. livida. The distinguishing character is the blue lines.
In marine aquaria, this species is sometime used to get rid of "brown" or "red" flatworms which may be causing harm to corals.
Distribution
This cephalaspidean is found in the Southwestern Pacific Ocean from Indonesia and Australia to Fiji.
