High Water Everywhere

High Water Everywhere

"High Water Everywhere" was written by blues singer Charley Patton. Its subject is the Great Mississippi Flood of 1927 which devastated Louisiana. Bob Dylan directly pays tribute to the song on his 2001 album "Love and Theft" with "High Water (For Charley Patton)."
