It is an Indian made Anti Material Rifle.The Ordnance factory in Tiruchirpalli had developed a changeable multi-calibre
anti-material rifle named "Vidhwansak" which is sanskrit for destructive.The Rifle can be used for destroying enemy bunkers,lightly armoured vehicles and radar systems in the battle field even at a distance of 2000m.It is not based on the South African DenelNTW-20 as speculatedFact|date=September 2008, but is comparable to the said weapon in terms of caliber.Comparing Vidhwansak to the Denel anti-material rifle, the rifle is much cheaper than theNTW-20 and also has multiple calibers and fires 12.7mm, 14.5mm and 20mm rounds compared to dual calibres supported by the South African counterpart.It is also a unique weapon in being one of the only weapons to support 3 calibres with quick interchangability.The development of Vidhwansak was completed in November 2005 and the rifle had been offered to the Indian army, BSF and National Security Guards.• Multi Calibre – 12.7 mm, 14.5 mm & 20 mm
