Norah Spie

Norah Spie Holds a BA in Mass Communications. She started her journalism career in 1998 after completing her initial diploma in Journalism and Professional Writing from Cape Town.

She joined The Herald newspaper as a Reporter in 1999.

While studying French in Paris, France Miss Spie continued her writing as an international correspondent for The Mirror and the Southern Africa Political Economist Series (SAPES).

Since moving to the U.K, Norah completed an internship programme with the Herald & Post in Luton before becoming a correspondent for various newspapers including the Independent and The Voice – London.

She then decided to break into broadcasting and made her debut with the Voice Africa radio station in Birmingham, UK. She continues to work in radio as a news producer/reader.

In 2006, Norah published her first non-fiction book Parallel Lines. The book is based on her life growing up in Zimbabwe.

Norah is also an acclaimed columnist and writes for the widely-read newzimbabwe.com and The New Zimbabwe weekly newspaper.

Miss Spie is currently working on her sequel to Parallel Lines.
