USS Winslow

USS Winslow

Three ships in the United States Navy have been named USS "Winslow". The first two were named for Rear Admiral John Ancrum Winslow. The third was named for John Winslow and his second cousin, Admiral Cameron Winslow.

* The first "Winslow" (TB-5) was a torpedo boat during the Spanish-American War.
* The second "Winslow" (DD-53) was a "O'Brien"-class destroyer, commissioned in 1915, served during World War I and decommissioned in 1922.
* The third "Winslow" (DD-359) was a "Porter"-class destroyer, commissioned in 1937 and served in World War II. She was redesignated AG-127 in 1945 and decommissioned in 1950.
