Pemberton's Headquarters, also known as Willis-Cowan House, is a two-story brick house that served as the headquarters for Confederate General John C. Pemberton during most of the 47 day siege of Vicksburg, and the site where he decided to surrender the city to Ulysses S. Grant on July 4, 1863.

The house was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1976.citation|title=PDFlink| [http://pdfhost.focus.nps.gov/docs/NHLS/Text/70000319.pdf National Register of Historic Places Inventory-Nomination: Pemberton's Headquarters / Willis-Cowan House] |564 KB|date=August, 1976 |author=Blanche Higgins Schroer |publisher=National Park Service and PDFlink| [http://pdfhost.focus.nps.gov/docs/NHLS/Photos/70000319.pdf Accompanying photos, exterior and interior, from 1951, 1970, and c.1900.] |1.86 MB]
