1986 NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Championship

The 1986 Division I NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship game was played at Delaware Stadium in front of 9,765 fans. North Carolina capped off a 11 and 3 season with its third NCAA championship, as they defeated University of Virginia 10 to 9 in overtime. This tournament was also notable because for the first time in nine seasons, Johns Hopkins was not in the tournament finals.
