Mount Carmel RC Technology College for Girls is a Roman Catholic, girls-only school in Islington, North London. The school was located in Eden Grove, Holloway before moving to its present location in Holland Walk, Archway. Girls have to go through an interview and exam, and are then selected based on their results. The school doesn't have a sixth form, and encourages Year 11 pupils to apply at City and Islington College. Mount Carmel receive top grade results every year and are considered one of the best schools in Islington and London. They are over-subscribed every year and the majority of their students continue into further education.[citation needed]
