census GR|2 of 2000, there were 267 people, 100 households, and 74 families residing in the village. Thepopulation density was 275.1 per square mile (106.3/km²). There were 106 housing units at an average density of 109.2/sq mi (42.2/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 97.75% White, 0.37% Asian, and 1.87% from two or more races.There were 100 households out of which 44.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.0% were married couples living together, 9.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.0% were non-families. 26.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.67 and the average family size was 3.18.
In the village the population was spread out with 30.7% under the age of 18, 6.4% from 18 to 24, 30.0% from 25 to 44, 21.3% from 45 to 64, and 11.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 35 years. For every 100 females there were 74.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 77.9 males.
