division_titles = 1994The Los Angeles Blades were a professional ice hockey team in Los Angeles, California. They were a member of the Western Hockey League from 1961 to 1967. When the Los Angeles Kings were awarded a National Hockey League franchise in 1967, the Blades folded. They played their home games in the Los Angeles Sports Arena. Famous hockey people associated with the Blades include: Willie O'Ree, Leonard Gerald Labine, Alf Pike, and Howie Young.

In addition, there were two other franchises by the name Los Angeles Blades in other leagues, the Pacific Hockey League in 1979 and the Roller Hockey International franchise.
