Shoreland Lutheran High School is a Lutheran High School in Somers, Wisconsin, affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.

Academics

Shoreland offers a variety of courses, including a Pre-Ministry program for students wishing to become teachers or pastors in the synod.

Advanced Placement

Shoreland offers one Advanced Placement class, AP Chemistry. This class takes up two "sets" (roughly 45 minutes each) in the Shoreland schedule.

Facilities

Shoreland's facilities were originally constructed in 1979, with an expansion added to the west and major internal renovations completed in 1997. A Football field, baseball and softball diamonds, and 2 practice fields also make up the facilities. Future plans call for the addition of a Fine Arts wing and additional classroom space.

Gym

The roof of Shoreland's gym building has 20 solar panels mounted to it. These panels feed power directly back into the power grid. Some of the panels were damaged when vandals broke in to the gym building during 2007, and require replacement.

Federation

Shoreland is operated by a "federation" of 24 area congregations that are members of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. [http://slhs.us/federation.htm]

Shoreland is a member of the WIAA Midwest Classic Conference, and offers the following sports:
