Arturo RodríguezMedal record Men's Boxing Gold 1928 Amsterdam Heavyweight Arturo "El Mono" (The Monkey) J. Rodríguez Jurado (May 26, 1907 – November 22, 1982) was an Argentine boxer who competed in the 1924 Summer Olympics and in the 1928 Summer Olympics.
In 1924, he lost his first fight against Thyge Petersen and was eliminated in the first round of the light heavyweight class.
Four years later, Rodríguez won the gold medal in the heavyweight class after winning the final against Nils Ramm.
